Within the framework of a feasibility study the applicability of the In-situ remediation technique of Steam-Air-Injection will be investigated to ensure a safe removal of a CHC contaminated site in Switzerland. Hydraulic and pneumatic aspects, soil-physical behavior are to be determined as well as the settlements of the organic-rich soil matrix (peat) below the building during steam propagation using soil samples from the field site.
