DescriptionThe course offers a deepening of the analysis methods needed for the determination of hydraulic parameters for different media (porous, fractured), local conditions and conductivity ranges. Specific emphasis is put on the recognition of the deviation from ideal behaviour introduced by inner and outer boundaries, coupling to other layers and to reaching equilibrium by means of diagnostic plots. Based on this the appropriate application of analysis methods from standard analysis programs is exercised on the PC. With respect to the determination of effective, regional parameters the transition from point to areal data is discussed on the basis of geostatistical considerations
Key words are: Analysis Methods, Diagnostic Plots, Inner / Outer Boundary Conditions, Step Pumping and Well Performance Tests, Effective Parameters, Regional Parameters
