The 16th International Conference on Hydroinformatics [HIC 2026] https://hic2026.org/ took place in Zaragoza, Spain, from June 22-26, 2026. The conference brought together global experts and professionals in hydroinformatics to discuss advances in AI-based modeling methods, environmental and coastal hydroinformatics, and data-driven water management.
Andrés Heredia presented his work, "Optimization of 2d hydrodynamic model roughness with multioutput Gaussian process emulators and Bayesian active learning" and had the opportunity to meet and discuss with the more than 350 participants from academia, industry, and government agencies.
