From June 19 to 24, more than 878 experts in hydraulic engineering and research met at in Granada (Spain) for 39th IAHR World Congress (#FromSnowToSea).
The IWS’ Prof. Dr.-Ing. Silke Wieprecht, Stefan Haun (PhD.) and Dr. sc. Sebastian Schwindt represent the high versatility of the institute. In particular, Prof. Wieprecht answered questions and gave advice in her role of a senior career peer. Stefan Haun was elected Vice Chair of the IAHR's Flood Risk Management Technical Committee during the Congress.
