Kilian Mouris is a doctoral researcher at the IWS and he investigates the influence of climate change on reservoir sedimentation. To this end, he computes both the erosion and sediment transport processes in the catchment and the sedimentation processes in the reservoir. The resulting predictions can be used to develop a sustainable sediment management concept that considers hydro-climatic changes.
