Portrait of the Month - the Hydraulic Laboratory

Video

02:38

Once a month, we introduce a member of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management. This month we will introduce you to a whole team, the team of the Hydraulic Laboratory short VA.

The hydraulic laboratory of the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems was built in 1973. With a floor space of 1600 m², the laboratory offers enough space for physical hydraulic model experiments on various topics related to hydraulic engineering and water resources management.
The physical models are designed at the hydraulic laboratory specifically for each setup. The experiments are built by own metal, plastics, and wood workshops and equipped with the latest measuring technology by the internal electronic workshop.

Have you become curious? The team of the Hydraulic Laboratory shows more about their work in his video.
