The presentation covers a range of applications for non-isothermalcompositional gas-liquid multiphase systems in the subsurface and infuel-cells.The basic modeling concepts for multiphase flow systems in porous mediawill be briefly introduced and specific adaptions of the concepts to theindividual type of applications are discussed. The complexity of themodelshas to be adapted to the problem and it may be useful in some cases todistinguish different time-scales where the processes can be describedwithmodels of different complexity.
