Prof. Dr.-Ing. Silke Wieprecht receives the IAHR Fellow membership distinction at the 40th IAHR World Congress
At the 40th IAHR World Congress in Vienna, Austria, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Silke Wieprecht received the IAHR Fellow membership distinction (https://www.iahr.org/index/detail/794), which recognizes long-standing members because of their outstanding contributions to hydro-environmental engineering and research. The IAHR Fellows announcement took place at the Congress Gala Dinner on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Silke Wieprecht has more than 18 years of active engagement in IAHR with substantial contributions to the sustainable development of nature-oriented water management for optimizing the use of global water resources and flow processes. She also is a distinguished educator with international recognition. Congratulations to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Silke Wieprecht for the IAHR Fellow Membership!
