One-month research stay by Leila Hashemi from Delft University of Technology at LH2

February 28, 2022 /

Leila Hashemi is a PhD student at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Delft University of Technology. She will visit the Department of Hydromachanics and Modeling Hydrosystems from March 16 to April 15, 2022. Her stay takes place within the International Research Training Group DROPIT.

Leila Hashemi is a PhD student at TU Delft. Her supervisor is Hadi Hajibeygi and Kees Vuik. Her PhD topic is "On pore scale modeling of two-phase flow."

Leila studied Petroleum Engineering at Shiraz University (Iran) and graduated with a BSc before transferring to Petroleum University of Technology in Tehran (Iran), where she studied Reservoir Management and graduated with a Master's degree. She has been working on her PhD project since October 2021. Her main research interests are pore-scale modeling, reservoir simulation, reservoir management, enhanced oil recovery, and reservoir characterization.

From March 16 to April 15, 2022, Leila Hashemi will be a guest of the Department of Hydromechanics and Hydrosystem Modeling. Her visit is organized through the International Research Training Group DROPIT.  We wish Leila an exciting and profitable research stay!
