Sidian is doctoral student at the University of Arizona under the supervision of Bo Guo. He is broadly interested in the fundamental physics of fluid flow and transport in environmental and energy systems in Earth’s subsurface. His current research focuses on micro-scale (i.e., pore-scale) modeling of multiphase fluid flow, transport, and thermodynamic phase change behaviors in geological porous media. The specific application of his research is to study these complex physical processes in liquid-rich shale formations.
We are very happy to having him here at our institute and are very much looking forward to a fruitful collaboration!
