On invitation of the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Stefan Haun held a lecture on the topic "Integrated Flood Protection Measures" on October 8, 2021.
The aim of the lecture was to familiarize the students with the efforts, but also the advantages of a holistic approach in of integrated river basin management. The specific focus was set on the management of potential flooding.
Almost 400 students registered for the lecture, where about 270 students from different countries (including the Philippines and Malaysia) attending the session live.
