Further intensive collaboration decided
On 22nd and 23rd November 2021, SFB 1313 organized a workshop on "Porous Media" at the University of Stuttgart. The workshop was embedded in a larger event at the University of Stuttgart, where the Universities of Bergen and Stuttgart officially expressed their will for further and more intensive scientific collaboration.
The group around Rainer Helmig can look back on many years of successful cooperation with the Norwegian scientists. Starting with the International Research Training Group "NUPUS" to the current Research Partnership "NUPUS", which is integrated in SFB 1313. In addition, there are joint research projects within the framework of the Cluster of Excellence "Simtech".
From the Norwegian side Helge Dahle, Martin Ferno, Kundan Kumar and Ivar Stefansson participated in the Workshop "Porous Media". From the Stuttgart side, in addition to members of LH2, representatives of Simtech, of SFB 1313 and of the central administration of the University of Stuttgart were present. Current research results were exchanged and possible joint projects were discussed.
