Description
Compared to other heat storage technologies, thermochemical heat storage is characterised by the high energy densities that can be achieved and the possibility of almost loss-free storage. With the help of mathematical/numerical model concepts, this research project aims to identify the relevant processes with the vision of developing a tool to support future technical implementation.
We focus on the reaction system Calcium Oxide/Calcium Hydroxide but can easily be transferred to other, similar systems.
