The seminar "Sediment Management and Water Ecology - Scientific Exchange of Experience", organized by the CD Laboratory for Sediment Research and Management, aimed to provide an overview of the current state of knowledge at the interface of ecology and sediment.
Representatives of the Austrian energy industry met with scientists, biologists, and engineers in Vienna to discuss issues such as sediment quantities in rivers, ecologically compatible fine sediment management, and difficulties in involving stakeholders in integrative sediment management.
In this context, Stefan Haun gave a keynote speech on the topic of clogging studies at the Inn River.
